Glad to see the two Chinook pilots absolved of blame for the Mull of Kintyre accident. As I read the news report, however, I don't believe they were cleared of responsibility.

Results of an official investigation into the March 2009 Cougar S-92 crash into the sea, 30 miles off Newfoundland, are about to be handed to a regional regulator. It will release its conclusions after a 30-day review period.

Highly interesting papers on training, green rotorcraft and fire-fighting, plus my first look at an interesting new technology that can position a helicopter, and even enable low-vis landings, through use of acoustic sensors.
